Disc prep and fusion redefined.

A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER:
“Quality disc preparation is a key component of any lumbar interbody fusion procedure. This disc prep requires the surgeon to completely remove the disc material as well as the cartilage from the vertebral endplates. Exposing and abrading the bony endplates creates the biological environment necessary for the bone graft and implant to fuse properly. Despite being such a critical part of LIF procedures, current disc prep techniques are tedious and time-consuming; requiring dozens of instrument passes that fail to access hard-to-reach areas of the disc.”

Unmet Clinical Needs
Uniform Disc Preparation
Goal for LIF procedures is >80% of disc material cleared; countless instrument passes are inefficient and result in inconsistent levels of disc material clearance
Surgical Site Infection Risk of Reprocessed Tools
Patient contacting tools and graspers are reprocessed hundreds of times and increase bioburden risks to patients.
Static Implant Designs
Implant footprint not adjustable and difficult to pack with bone graft
